The first few days with ducklings.
Aug. 5th, 2011 06:21 pmThe ducklings have settled in and decided humans make warm, comfy nests.

They are very bonded to each other, and sleep at night in their box without making much of a fuss (unlike the goslings who would cry out for us whenever they woke up at night).

During the day, however, they can be very loud expressing their displeasure when they notice they are too far away from their human parents. As long as someone is sitting nearby they are happy to eat and drink and play and sleep in their larger enclosure we put together by folding up a sheet and surrounding it with various boxes.

And sometimes we give them the chance to take a bath.
