Food For Ducklings?

crazychicknladyThe ducklings' motto seems to be, "If you don't try to eat it you wont know if it's food."
While sitting in my lap, Valdimir, Daddy's Khaki Campbell, tried very determinedly to eat my dress.
A little later, Wing Flap, S's Golden 300 Hybrid Layer, discovered the joys of stealing the dogs' food. We think she managed to eat 7 or 8 pieces of kibble, before we got her back into the cage so she could get a drink. It's important for ducks to have access to water when they have access to food so they don't choke.
After realizing what Wing Flap was up to, Valdimir and Feather Head (C's Runner Duck) tried chasing some of the loose kibble on the floor. Since their bills are a little smaller we don't think they actually managed to eat any.
Blue Moon, H's Runner Duck, just stayed settled in my lap the whole time, seemingly too calm to descend into the chaos that was the floor kibble chase. Either that, or she just wasn't hungry at the time.
