crazychicknladyH stuck her head into the room a minute ago and said, "Mom, these are the happiest sounds I've heard all month. I hope we get a doozy of a downpour."

ETA: We got a decent downpour - short, but heavy. The ducks made sure to get themselves safely inside and settled in all cozy in their cage before the rain started (with a close call when C accidentally almost closed the door on Vladimir as she slipped inside - no ducks were hurt in the process, whew.)
