4-H Sept-Oct

crazychicknladyM took the girls to a community service project to clean up an historical site.
C had his first Cloverbud meeting.
H and S had an information meeting for arts and crafts/scrapbooking/photography. There were 4 or 5 other girls there who were also new to 4-H.
M took the girls to their shooting sports meeting. The girls got to shoot air rifle and bow after their safety training. It turns out H is left eye dominant like her Opa.
We went to the first Community Meeting. We signed up to help set up for an event on Halloween (early enough the kids can still go trick-or-treating).
Next week the girls are going to collect non-perishable food items by participating in Trick-or-treat so others can eat with their arts and crafts/scrapbooking/photography group. I don't know if they will do this again on a separate occasion for shooting sports (same leader, but it is a contest within their 4-H to see which group can collect more food) or if the two groups will go together.
A couple weeks later C will Trick-or-treat so others can eat for Cloverbuds, followed by the weigh in for the food.
