Riding Junior.

crazychicknladyThis afternoon, H asked if we could ride Junior. She caught him and brushed him, then I led her around for a bit bareback. Then I rode him a bit, still bareback, with the bridle on him. That gave H the confidence boost she needed, and she took a turn at riding him while controlling him herself. It worked great, they looked so cute together (no picture this time, I had left the camera in the house and didn't want to leave them alone to run in and get it).
The pony girth came today, so when H was ready for a break I saddled Junior up with the little saddle that came with him. C had a two second ride, then was done. S had a longer ride (she fit the little saddle just fine). I led her at first, then she took the reins and rode him some more. Then H had another bareback ride. Finally S had a bareback ride while controlling Junior.
