The best laid plans...

crazychicknladyAgainst my better judgement we ended up going to the local pool today. It was actually fairly nice. Not too crowded, and once the breeze stopped it was certainly hot enough.
Then we even played 4-square a little when we got home.
I'm gonna lay low for the rest of the evening - well, as much as I can manage being the Mom to three kids.

ETA: Just as I typed my last sentence I heard CRASH in the kitchen. Interesting to note: when a cup full of soup bounces off the floor it can fling the soup with such force that some of it can end up on the ceiling. As it turns out, while I had to clean soup off the ceiling, walls, counter and floor, the cup in question did not actually break.
