Growing Up

A few days ago, C told me he wanted to only be called by his first name. No terms of endearment or nicknames.

No more bugaboo, boo, bug, boo boo, dude, sweetie, cutie, or any variation on his name. Just "C".

He's about 2yrs 5mos old.

He gave me nearly five months longer than S. At exactly two years old, she was no longer to be called Baby, only "S". Now, at five and a half, it's permitted for me (and only me) to call her sweetie.

For about two months, starting when S was around 2yrs 2mos old, she wanted to be called "Boots" after the monkey on Dora the Explorer.
