Looking At Goose Eggs.

H and I checked the goose eggs tonight (I ended up moving them into the same nesting box the other day when I noticed both chickens were sitting the newer egg (and thus neglecting the older egg) by cramming themselves into the same box rather than splitting forces and warming both eggs).

There were growth lines in both eggs. The older egg had a thick dark area and a more extensive set of lines. None of the eggs in the Goose tended pile had lines. One of the three looked rotted, so I tossed it.
