Easter Baskets

I always seem to be a few weeks behind lately. Maybe I'll catch up one of these days :)

Here are the Easter Baskets right before I put them in the kids' rooms.

Rock Candy

This is our most successful attempt at making rock candy to date. We added red food coloring to the sugar water mixture to try to make pink rock candy. Once the liquid was washed away, the candy just looked clear, so the dye didn't take.

The kids enjoyed eating it, anyway.
