TV? No Thanks.
Jul. 27th, 2008 07:20 pmFor those of you out there worried that if you let your children watch as much TV as they want that TV is all they will want to do, here is some anecdotal evidence to the contrary.
S is playing in her room. We recently cleaned it so it is a pleasant place to play. She is playing a game by herself involving dinosaurs.
A few minutes ago I realized the Sunday Simpsons is on. I knocked on S's door and told her Simpsons is on. She said "Simpsons!" in an excited way then paused and said, "No Thanks." S is still happily playing in her room and the TV is off.
