Ooh accidental alliteration.

Anyway......

New time line:

The 7th before someone is even assigned to our case.

Time to order a BPO, then 20 days to get one done.

Transfer to another department, then 30 days before escrow even opens.

Then the normal house inspection, etc. till we close escrow - probably another 30 days.

Minimum 90 days. Probably longer with the holidays slowing everything down.

Estimated time to hear back from the bank with their acceptance of our offer or with a counter offer: February 5th.

AAAAAAAARRRRRRG.

An Unusual Game of Fetch

When I throw the tennis ball for our dog Pete (he actually fetches a ball, unlike Hazel), I usually play indoors and throw the ball down the hallway. This makes it simple to get him to bring the ball back to me; Pete's supposed to be a hunting dog someday, and I don't want to let him get away with not bringing back the fetched object.

Tonight the kids joined in the game. They chased after Pete wherever I threw the ball, then chased him back. It was very funny to watch, with lots of laughing and running and tumbling. Pete seemed to like the new variety of fetch, and didn't let the children distract him from his task at hand.

All in all I was very pleased. The kids got some exercise, Pete got some fetch practice and a good time was had by all.
