New Dog For A Day.
May. 20th, 2011 12:52 pmA couple of days ago I looked out in the backyard, and saw three dogs. Mind you, there are normally only supposed to be two dogs in our backyard at any one time, and none of them are little fluffy white dogs.

He was sweet, friendly, and very thirsty. He also managed to piss off the horse, so we put him in the front yard, so I didn't have to tell the owner once we found them that they had a lost, squashed dog.
The kids and I dubbed him Fluffy Face while we took him for a walk around the neighborhood looking for the owner. He wanted to say "hi" to every dog we passed, regardless of how loudly those same dogs barked at him.
No one recognized him, and I was starting to edit pictures to post on craigslist, and thinking about the logistics of dealing with a smaller dog who needed to be checked for a microchip, washed, groomed, and eventually fixed if he stayed with us, when the owners found us.
Phew.
Turns out his real name is Snowflake.
