Zoo

We went to the Zoo today. They were doing some special stuff for Halloween, so we trekked out there today even though the weather faeries are punishing us with summer heat at the end of October.

The kids had fun playing in the bouncy house (special for Halloween), and the water cave (permanent water feature the Zoo added a few years ago - though they don't always have the water running), and we even saw lots of animals on our way out.

There were ducks everywhere - mostly mallards. This pleased S, because she was able to determine how they looked compared to her Golden 300 Hybrid Layer Wing Flap.

We decided to get Chinese for dinner, because walking around for 5 hours wore us out.
