Ah Crap, RIP Speedy (the female goose).
Jan. 25th, 2014 11:14 amYesterday the neighbor dogs killed and ate the head and neck (the part they could reach through the chainlink fence) of our female goose, Speedy. She would have been 4 years old this year.

Hopefully our gander, Wobbles, has enough company in the chickens and ducks and horses to not get too depressed over his loss. He was very cuddly and confused, yesterday, though. If he makes it another few months, then maybe he can bond with our new geese. Due to yesterday's unfortunate events, the kids and I have decided to get some African geese from Metzer farms, instead of the White Chinese we were planning on.
