And So It Begins.

Yesterday, the girls and I binge watched bad Christmas movies running on broadcast television. Some of them were pretty good for sappy Christmas time romantic comedies. One, though, will forever be know as the abs guy movie. Bad acting, bad writing, and the male lead went shirtless, a lot.

Since we were busy, the boys picked out the tree this year. Normally we get a four to five foot tree and it ends up on a table. This year they overshot by about a foot. I found a place that could work, on the actual floor, so we won't have to trim off the top of the tree to make it fit.



Looks pretty good, we might have to do that again next year.

One thing that bugged me about all the Christmas movies was the tree. Even when the characters made a big show of getting a real tree for Christmas, the tree they were decorating in the house always looked fake. Seriously wish the prop guys put a little more work into it. Or, if they couldn't keep a real tree for the duration of the shoot, the characters should have just gotten a fake tree in the first place.

Decorations will go on our very real tree later this week.
