Sunday.
Since S actually had the day off, H, S, and I went to the used clothing store in the hopes of shopping some of their new Halloween costumes and accessories at half off.
We were less than successful.
First off we got there earlier than they open: 11am on a Sunday, seriously!?
So we burned an extra half hour at the 99 cent store. They have lots of things for more than 99 cents there, some of which may still be a good deal, so S ended up with a generously sized Squishmallow for 6 bucks.
Once we made it into the used clothing store, we discovered they didn't seem to have had any new Halloween stuff this year.
So we did a little regular clothes shopping instead. Emphasis on little, it was slim pickings.
On the way home we went by Walmart to get half off candy. That was a more successful venture.
On the way to Walmart, S got asked to cover a closing shift. So much for S getting a day off, but at least we managed the candy, and H got a really cute top.
