Ah, the Joys of No Homework.
Sep. 9th, 2012 07:05 pmEarlier today, H and I spent a couple of hours in the kitchen together - she cooked up some french toast and I cleaned up some of the kitchen.
Later we spent several more hours with the horses. H even convinced me to saddle up Ezra and go on a road ride with her and Junior. We rode down to sign up for water. After a few extra loops on the way home, H got Junior to Canter for a few steps, then he went into a choppy trot and H fell off. No harm done, except perhaps to her bottom. We walked the horses a little more, then I gave her a boost back up, for the rest of the ride back home.
Five or six hours of hanging out and enjoying our unusually beautiful day. No worries about cramming in the time to finish up a weekends worth of homework before tomorrow morning.
God I love homeschooling.
