Crazy Chicken, Duck, Dog Lady.

crazychicknladyAnyone following this blog knows that with regards to birds I've become enough enamored with our ducks that I might have been able to change my moniker to crazyducklady.
Well, lately I've become so obsessed with Brittanies that my dear, extremely tolerant, husband thinks that a crazydoglady title would not be inaccurate.
I am putting serious thought into getting a Brittany puppy. A genuine, bought from a breeder, 7 week old ball of wriggly puppiness. I've even ordered some bird dog training books, because if I'm going to do this I want to try to do right by the pup and train it to hunt. Taking on a task I've never done before is daunting, but I'm trying to suppress the perfectionist voice in me. The crippling voice that tells me if I can't do something perfectly I shouldn't even bother.
