My Moo Cat

Well, New Cat got fixed today. I figure that means we're keeping her. C has decided she is his cat. While she was sitting in her carrier at the vet, waiting for me to pay, C looked in at her and said, "My moo cat." (He doesn't pronounce New quite right.)

It was suggested by a lady picking up her own cat that we call New Cat "MyNC" (pronounced Mink) for My New Cat.

No wonder C was so excited when he saw Hermione out on the patio at our party. New Cat bears more than a passing resemblance to our little feline princess.

Now we're leaning towards Mynkie. Using K for kat ;-)

I asked C, and he seems to like the name. We'll see if it sticks.

M likes the name Nova (so do I, too bad he didn't mention it before we came up with Mynkie), but I think he'll be out voted by the kids.
