Ren Faire Garb.

crazychicknladyRen Faire is happening soon around these parts. Last year H asked if we could go in Garb this year (we used to go in Garb every year, but eventually keeping up with new outfits for the growing kids became too big of a hassle and we started going in street clothes instead).
Well, after nearly a year of no sewing by their Dad (I can't do more than hand sew a crooked seam or fix a button, so any major project would have to be done by Dad or Grandma), I broke out the Ren Faire boxes. It turns out that H can fit my old garb and S can fit M's (more or less).
M decided to spend the last week sewing. With that, and a few pieces purchased from Jas. Townsend and Son, Inc. the girls will have their own outfits. So the whole family will be able to go in garb (C being in a partial outfit, but with a toy sword strapped to his side, he'll be happy) this year.
ETA: M actually managed to pull together a complete outfit for C, so the whole family will be in proper garb. The kids (especially H and S) are very excited.
