Today I marked two of Lullaby's eggs (A and B) and two of Carrot's eggs (1 and 2) and put them in the nesting box with the two Goose eggs I put in on March 16th.
Chicken eggs take less time to incubate than Goose eggs, so I waited a while before putting the chicken eggs under the broody chicken. I didn't want her to lose interest in the Goose eggs if the chicken eggs hatched.
I'll check the Goose eggs tonight to see if we have development. I don't expect to see evidence of growth (assuming they were even fertilized) in the chicken eggs for at least half a week.
