County Fair.
Apr. 15th, 2013 01:20 pmWe spent all day at the County Fair yesterday. The girls won ribbons on all their entries, including some blues and lots of reds. After looking at entries and animals for a couple of hours we got the kids their wrist bands for unlimited rides. S(10) and C(7) were more inclined to ride the scarier rides than H(12). The only thing stopping C from riding as many different rides as S was his height. He wasn't tall enough for some of the height minimums, but he was able to ride many more of the big kid rides this year than last year. After riding the big roller-coaster C said, "That was really scary, let's go again!"
Since I went a little overboard with pictures, I'll hide them behind this

H and S.

S and C. H didn't go on any of the swing rides; she's too afraid of them breaking.

All of them went on this ride once, S and C repeated the experience several times.

H, S, and C. Fun ride for all of them, but way too loud.

H and C.

C dancing to the music, sung by a guy, near where we ate dinner. C, of course, had pizza.

The super slide, one of C's favorites. He went on it about 30 times, like last year, but for some reason was told he couldn't ride anymore by the guy in charge. We figure he was being too pushy and rude, but C didn't think he did anything wrong, so we're not sure what the deal was. C was happy enough to move on to other rides, though.

S actually went on this one, the "Fireball".
C and S went on this a bunch. Twitch, twitch.

S and C were getting along really well; S even went on the Dragon Belly ride with C.

Small ferris-wheel. It required two riders so S and C went together. H was worried C would rock the seat, so she opted out. She was right, he rocked the seat.

C's new favorite ride. He said he wants to find it first next year so he can ride it 50 times. S and H also enjoyed it. H said she turned sideways during the ride and S shifted all the way upside down.
