A note to new readers.

crazychicknladyMy blog isn't always about animals, really. It is about our lives, however, and our lives have been fairly animal focused lately, since we have recently had an unusual influx of small, cute creatures into our home.
Besides, sometimes it is easier to just throw up a photo, than try to string words together in an intelligible fashion. I've been at this whole livejournal thing for a lot of years now. I find it a more satisfying format than Facebook (where many of the writers of the journals I used to read have wandered off to over the past several years - I'm not bitter ;-), really I'm not), and I intend to keep at it as long as livejournal sticks around.
It's more for me and my failing memory, than anything else, but it's fun that some folks out there enjoy reading it besides me.
So welcome aboard, and I promise I will wander into other topics besides puppies and goslings (though puppies! and goslings! - I could be obsessed with something much worse, I suppose).
