Adventures in Business
Oct. 4th, 2017 01:07 pmThis is purely hobby level right now, but a bunch of my crocheted dice bags are on consignment at a local gaming store. They finally went up today (about a month and a half after I gave them to the owner).

I don't know if they will sell. I priced them high intentionally, to try to avoid the trap creative types get into of undervaluing their work, plus the store gets a cut. Even at their current price points, I'm likely making less than 2$ an hour, so this is not a sustainable business model. It might, however, be a way to make a little money from something I'd be doing anyway. Besides, there's a limit to the number of dice bags I need piling up at home.
