One Free Day.
Jan. 29th, 2018 10:18 amThis is the only Monday, this month, free of notes. I actually have an old fashioned wall calendar hanging in my kitchen. Before the beginning of every month, I fill it up with notes on where each of us has to be, so I don't forget when I get up in the morning. I've never been able to shift over to an electronic calendar, even though I had a friend insisting I needed to do just that over a decade ago. Something about pen and paper, and a constant hanging reminder works better for my brain.
Today I'm going to burn up my free day by taking H shopping for art supplies and shoes. S will likely tag along, being the one person in this family who actually finds joy in clothes shopping. We can do this, though, because there are zero outside obligations written on my calendar for this one, lone, little Monday.
