Yesterday was a gorgeous day for a park day.
Cool and overcast.
It was a decent turnout: over a dozen kids, not even counting my two (H had work that night, so she chose not to go).
It was C's first park day as an official member of our tween/teen group. He was so excited. S had fun, but it was a mixed bag for C. He liked the scavenger hunt organized for the kids, because it was an easy way to be interactive with some of the other kids. He took the game too seriously, though, and got upset about the way S's team found a couple of the things on the list (they used the Library in a nature scavenger hunt; one mans creative is another mans cheating).
Social is hard.
