I was in the grocery store today when a lady with four kids passed by me. One of the kids, maybe 8 yrs old, was complaining that a thing she wanted was usually on the shelves right in that area. The mother responded that it sure was but you know who's America it is.

After taking a beat to process the conversation, I glaced over at the very empty section of shelves.

Kind of a laugh and cry moment.

It does give me hope about this small piece of the world I'm living in.
