Yesterday, S had a rare Friday off work. The timing was perfect. She got to hang out with her friend then go to said friend's improv performance.

C didn't go, because the show started late enough that it would interfere with his early bedtime, since his day shift today meant a 7am wake up time.

I was pleased enough he decided not to go, since only S going meant she could drive herself.

As it turned out, C was asked to cover a busser shift last night, something he much preferred to do over going to the performance anyway.

C had a successful night.

S had a blast.

I got to stay home and have a nap (we had flood day at 5am that morning).

Win. Win. Win.
