Will he, won't he?
Feb. 17th, 2023 03:53 pmTrying to give my 17 year old the space to make grownup decisions is definitely not leaving me in a calm frame of mind.
His current work environment will need to come to an end at some point. The honeymoon period is over, and it has become abundantly clear that it really doesn't have the longterm potential we thought it would at the beginning of this adventure.
He's lasted nearly a year, so a good run for a first job. He may make it past the one year mark before he pulls the trigger, or he may turn in his letter of resignation tomorrow.
I'm leaving that decision up to him.
Thus my struggle.
