Gratitude

Speaking of happiness, it's time for my gratitude list.

1)The livejournal help page - so I don't have to actually remember how to link a page or website.

2)Copy and paste.

3)The people who took a huge chunk of time out of their lives to write out game walkthroughs. We have used many a Spyro walkthrough of late to help us with our various games featuring that little purple dragon.

4)Sleeping children - giving me a chance to get a little wordy on my gratitude list ;-).

5)The Physics department secretary - okay, that one's back story is a little complicated, I'll go into the details at a later date if everything pans out. BTW anyone know where to get a great gift basket?

Number four reminds me of female author who was being interviewed and she was asked how different her writing was now that her children were grown. Her reply. "I'm writing longer sentences now."

LOL!

You'll look back on these times in fifteen or twenty years and wonder how you did it but with no regrets about choosing to stay home and make raising your children your first priority. Take it from someone who tried to do it all. I spent most of my daughter's growing up years feeling like a failure.

I am definitely having a blast. While it's more peaceful when they're sleeping, it's certainly more interesting when they're awake. :)
