Sometimes Semantics Matter

Tonight my three year old son was telling us: his sisters are not old, his Mommy and Daddy are not old, and his Grandma and Grandpa are not old.

When asked "Who is old?" he told us that bad guys and bad guys' houses are old.

I realized that I do not know what old means to my son.
