crazychicknladyHazel is back home!
Some guys were out shooting this morning, three miles west of where Hazel was lost. They heard a dog barking; they found her and took her home. They said she drank her body weight in water, then jumped in their pool.
Even though M posted about Hazel on his gun forum, and a least a dozen guys went out looking for her, this was an unrelated group of shooters.
They found us through my posting on Pets911.
They got ahold of M when the kids and I were out, so we got a really great surprise when we came home from karate.
She's home! She's home! She's home!
Thanks for all the well wishes and good thoughts. And thanks to all those hunters/shooters who volunteered to scour the countryside looking for our dog.
Hazel is in her favorite "cave" right now, under M's computer desk.
