No Christmas Cards

To Whom it may concern,

We are not sending out Christmas cards this year (we also did not send them out last year). I probably will not have the time to send out Christmas cards again till my kids are much older. M is not inclined to do them, and I want to decrease my have to list as much as possible. I get down right grouchy when I have a task I feel I must accomplish by a certain time/date. I expect to have a much more peaceful house this Christmas by avoiding things that lead to a grouchy Mommy.

S has been wanting one of these Fur Real birds for nearly a year now. She has been saving her money off and on (sometimes deciding to put off getting the bird to buy something less expensive). When she first met the bird it was $69.99 at Toys R Them. We searched ebay, and found some advertised as new for about $57.00 (including shipping). We even ran across one at a Kaybee's a few months back on clearance for $45.00. There are some beat up looking ones in clearance right now at our local Toys R Them, for about $56.00.

The reason one followed me home today: Target has them brand new and pretty for $19.99. Boggle. S had enough to buy one at that price.





Actually, more than one followed me home. C was with me and convinced me he needed one too. It'll count as an early Christmas present for him.
